WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER AT CHRIST CHURCH IN KEALAKEKUA IN SOUTH KONA!

The Community Center at Christ Church was completed in January 2005. It was built by the people of Christ Church with additional grants from the Atherton Family Foundation, the First Hawaiian Foundation,  the Harold K. L. Castle Foundation, Hokulia 1250 Oceanside Partners and the Samuel N. & Mary Castle Foundation.  Built at a cost of $1.4 million, it is a true multiple purpose building for church and public use.

Since the Center opened, it has been a place for public meetings by Hospice of Kona, Family Support Services of West Hawaii, DHS-Child Welfare Division, Head Start, and others, as well as the location for wedding receptions, birthday parties and concerts. It has also become a place for exceptional worship on Sunday mornings.

It is part of the mission of Christ Church to make our facility available to the public for a wide variety of purposes. We offer discounts to non-profit organizations and even will give full rental grants for worthy purposes.
